This is the 4th Slow Loris being released at Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park since early this year. The Slow Loris was confiscated from a member of the public who did not realise it was an endangered species when he bought it from the 'Tamu' in Tutong two months ago.

The core biodiversity group will help the Museums Department in organising various Wildlife Conservation Projects in the near future.

To help enforce the Wildlife Protected Act effectively, members of the public should not buy endangered species. They should report any cases to the Brunei Museums Department immediately on any suspicious sale of wild animals in the 'Tamu'.

The Department hopes to eliminate such purchasing demands and stop illegal collection of wild animals from our beloved forests.

The Museums Department thanks members of the public for the continuous supporting on wildlife awareness campaign.

It urges the public to be vigilance on the illegal sale of the endangered species.
